The sun is back! But that’s not the point.
EMINEM aka Marshall Mathers has announced he’ll be recording a new album. Finally. If you would like to rap like Eminem, come in to the Maidenhead shop and ask for the book & CD entitled “Rap like Eminem”. It’s okay, nobody else wants it.
Local boys Kill The Arcade have a new CD coming out on 1st October, in all fairly decent record stores.
In other news, we’ve made our myspace look a bit neater, and next week the fabulous Foo Fighters are releasing their latest album.
What fun!

So the rain’s back. People look miserable. And with the passing of Reading and Leeds, the festival season is officially over. Never mind, there’s always school to look forward to. Just to keep you informed, recorders have officially overtaken ukeleles as this years biggest selling instrument. What is it about recorders? They don’t even make a nice noise.
In the meantime however, it is perhaps worth noting that anyone who buys a guitar from a certain warehouse we-stock-everything store, or just from the internet, is very welcome to stop by at Sheargolds and have it sorted out when they realise it doesn’t work properly straight from the box.
Steve’s been hoovering, John’s off to get a paper, and I’ve almost run out of things to talk about.
Over the next few months I’m off to see MewithoutYou, Motion City Soundtrack, and I’m paying a visit to the Taste Of Chaos tour’s stop at Brixton Academy. Of course I will be letting you know how they all were, in good time.
Right. That’s all for today - leave a comment or two, have a browse of the new and improved online shop here, and have a lovely day.

There has been lots of hype and searches for the forthcoming musical instrument-come gadget. It features a 16×16 matrix of LED switches, allowing you to create music visibly!
Luke and I had the opportunity to see the prototype of this product back in June when we went to a Yamaha product training day up at their factory in Milton Keynes. It is quite clever - fully MIDI integrated with multi-layer capabilities I can see this as being the next toy/instrument for the upcoming DJ and Dance music artists. This is a must have for KORG KAOSS lovers!
For full details of the product, visit its dedicated website @ www.tenori-on.co.uk
At £599 retail price and only a very small number of dealers, I reckon you’ll be very luck to get one in a hurry!
